About Comedy Radar
Why This Exists
As a comedy fan in NYC, if you've ever tried to figure out what shows are happening on a given night, you know the drill: check the Comedy Cellar website, then The Stand, then NY Comedy Club, then Gotham, and on and on. Each venue has its own site, its own layout, its own way of showing lineups.
I got tired of it and built Comedy Radar to pull all that information into one place so that we can see every show across multiple venues, filter by date, and actually make plans without opening ten browser tabs.
What's Next
This started as a simple tool to scratch my own itch, but now that I've been building, I have a lot of ideas for where it could go. Features to help fans discover new comedians. Tools for comedians to track their shows. Maybe even ways to help venues reach more audiences. We'll see where it goes!
The plan is to expand beyond NYC eventually — LA, Austin, Chicago, and other cities with strong comedy scenes.
